What is Vertical Video Syndrome? How Do I Avoid it?

As more and more of teachers and students create videos for use in education, it becomes more important to create videos with a professional flair to them. One of the easiest ways to brand yourself as a newbie is to shoot Vertical Video. Here, in a short 3-minute public service announcement from gloveandboots, is everything you need to know about Vertical Video Syndrome and how to avoid it like the plague:

Note, however, that for some formats, like TikTok, vertical videos are now the default. So while you generally want to avoid vertical videos for most video production, there are some cases where it’s now the way to go.
