Often times you’ll see a website you want to go to while at a presentation, reading a work document or just watching TV. A lot of times I’ll see people spend too much time trying to type the colon and the slashes to enter the http:// part of the web address. It’s not necessary. You can just type the address without the http:// and you’ll be just fine. In fact, very often (not always!) you’ll be just fine if you leave out the www. as well. http://www.moodleshare.org is the same as www.moodleshare.org which is the same as moodleshare.org This will especially help those hunt & peck typists out there. It also helps cut down on potential for error when you hit enter and don’t get to your desired webpage.
